  • Ingredients:
  1. 500 g (17.64 oz) All-Purpose Flour
  2. 14 g (0.49 oz) Instant Yeast
  3. 75 g (2.65 oz) Sugar
  4. 10 g (0.35 oz) Salt
  5. 125 mL (4.22 oz) Whole Milk
  6. 125 mL (4.22 oz) Water
  7. 250 g (8.81 oz) Unsalted Butter, Room Temperature

  • Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the All-Purpose Flour, Instant Yeast, Sugar, and Salt.
  2. In a saucepan, heat the Whole Milk and Water until warm (about 37°C / 98°F).
  3. Pour the warm milk mixture into the flour mixture and stir until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes, until it's smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in a clean, greased bowl, cover it with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour.
  6. Roll out the dough into a large rectangle (30 cm x 40 cm / 11.81 in x 15.75 in).
  7. Spread the Room Temperature Butter over two-thirds of the dough, leaving a 1 cm (0.39 in) border along the edges.
  8. Fold the unbuttered third of the dough over the center third, then fold the remaining buttered third over that.
  9. Seal the edges of the dough by pressing them with a rolling pin.
  10. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  11. Repeat the rolling and folding process two more times.
  12. Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F).
  13. Cut the dough into triangular shapes to form Croissants using a sharp knife or pizza cutter.
  14. Place the Croissants on a lined baking sheet and let them rise for about 20 minutes.
  15. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  16. Serve hot and enjoy your homemade Croissants!
